We are hiring a Global Warehouse Staff Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. In this role, you will be a valuable member of our Global Factory Automation Team. Your responsibilities will include establishing and implementing standard methodologies for Global Warehousing across our global manufacturing sites!
Your objective is to drive world-class warehouse performance within Micron's Front End manufacturing sites by implementation automated warehouse capabilities, streamlining warehouse software management systems, aligning Best Known Methods (BKMs), and establishing globally aligned metrics.
Provide strategic oversight and direction for global warehousing operations, including network planning, optimization, and performance improvement.
Develop and implement global warehousing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Production, Finance) to understand and meet customer needs, optimize inventory levels, and minimize stockouts.
Coordinate implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to maximize efficiency and data-driven decision making.
Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of local warehousing operations, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring adherence to service level agreements and performance standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing operations, focusing on areas like safety, efficiency, and cost optimization.
