About the Role

Were looking for aQA Engineerwho will be deeply involved in our product development process to ensure our features are well-tested before they reach our customers. Youll report to the VP of Engineering and you will work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand product requirements, write and maintain test cases, and execute manual tests across a variety of devices. Additionally, youll help improve our automation testing efforts using modern frameworks like Playwright. Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand feature requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases across web and mobile platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Improve and expand automated test coverage using frameworks like Playwright.
  • Ensure regression testing is performed efficiently, reducing release risk.
  • Contribute to defining and improving QA processes, ensuring scalability as the company grows.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Experience writing and executing test cases manually across different devices and browsers.
  • Experience with Test Case management software such as xRay, TestRails, Qase.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (ideally Playwright, but similar frameworks are fine).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into the release process.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Familiarity with performance or security testing.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or working with healthcare data.

  • We have a strong preference for individuals based in our Austin, TX headquarters who are comfortable with our in-office work culture. We offer relocation assistance to new employees relocating to Austin.
