BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 4,500 retail stores across the East Coast, Midwest, and South. The Sales team is looking to add a Senior National Accounts Manager to serve the Northeast, Southeast and Central areas of the US.
The Senior National Account Manager will develop and manage established and new customers to achieve sales and profitability goals. They will own customer relationships, sell key growth initiatives, and work cross functionally with the Operations, Sales Strategy and Demand Planning Teams.

The Senior National Account Manager will develop and manage established and new customers to achieve sales and profitability goals. They will own customer relationships, sell key growth initiatives, and work cross functionally with the Operations, Sales Strategy and Demand Planning Teams.
Specifically, you will:
- Deliver customer category revenue, volume, growth, profit and share targets
- Deliver customer category distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising goals
- Provide category input during Joint Business Planning process
- Support execution against strategic initiatives and commitments
- Own the relationship with the category buyers and execute formalized, value-added engagement plans with established feedback loop to act on customer input
- Work collaboratively to develop innovative and insightful content to drive category growth
- Manage trade budgets judiciously to drive demand at our customers
- Identify medium and long-term business opportunities
- Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected demand, seasons and promotions
- Provide monthly and year-out forecasts to Replenishment Analyst and own forecast accuracy
- Partner with Broker Field & Execution teams to make sure the plans, tools and measurements are in place to deliver category and brand growth
- Positions BrightFarms to be "supplier of choice" by identifying customized marketing initiatives that enhance both BrightFarms' brand strategy and customer profitability target
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years sales within CPG industry
- Experience with corporate retailers
- Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectives
- Strong data analysis skills to monitor performance in category and develop strategies to close gaps, increase sales, etc.
- Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
- Global mindset and desire to build a successful career with a growing global company
- Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, & Teams)
- Ability to travel 40%
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA (not mandatory)
- Produce experience is preferred but not required
- Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons, ADUSA a plus
