Job description

Registered Nurse - NICU in DC.

Start Date: Must start within 3-4 weeks of offer

Shifts: Rotating Days/Nights (not within the same week; every few weeks)

Ratios: Vary by acuity (commonly 1:2)

Experience Required: 2+ years NICU experience

Certifications Required: BLS

Special Requirements:

• NICU IV experience
• Recent Trach and Vent experience
• Ability to rotate shifts (straight shifts may be accommodated if scheduling allows)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

On-Call Requirement: No

Floating: Yes, to other critical care units

RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days; must make up missed shifts within the same week

Guaranteed Hours: 36 (up to 48 hours without OT until after 48 hours)
