We are seeking an Embedded Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative radar/EW systems through the implementation of digital signal processing. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and develop system requirements and specifications, designing and implementing signal processing and software solutions, and conducting performance analyses through simulations and real-world testing.
Responsibilities
The role offers a hybrid work environment, but the candidate must be able to commute to the office as needed for program requirements. The company promotes a flexible work-life balance and prioritizes employee well-being.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking an Embedded Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative radar/EW systems through the implementation of digital signal processing. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and develop system requirements and specifications, designing and implementing signal processing and software solutions, and conducting performance analyses through simulations and real-world testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and develop system requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement signal processing and software solutions.
- Conduct performance analysis through simulations and real-world testing to validate and optimize system performance.
- Prepare documentation, design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Support the development of system architecture and implement the design to meet the architecture.
- Work on RF systems for airborne applications, with the potential to be tasked on other applications as needed.
- Demonstrated experience implementing real-time signal processing solutions in C++ (C++17 or later).
- Working knowledge of digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with embedded development; experience with FPGA and RFSoC platforms is a plus.
- Experience in delivering advanced development hardware.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.
- Experience in preparing and delivering briefings, and familiarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS).
- Background should include a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience; a Master's degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience; or a PhD. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Understanding and experience with Radar systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
- Experience with algorithm implementation in software for real-time systems, especially radar and/or remote sensing.
- CUDA experience preferred.
- Proficiency in radar simulation tools (MATLAB).
- Domain experience in one or more of the following areas: Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensor Resource Management, Large-Scale Platform Test Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, Open System Architectures (UCI, OMS, COARPS).
