About the role
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of electric and LV layouts for our brick-and-mortar restaurants. This includes but is not limited to working with MEP consultants on standardizing designs, reviewing and approving plans, and answering questions as they arise. You will be the go-to point of contact for all electric and low voltage related questions and will work closely with the internal project management and kitchen equipment engineering teams. You will work with the development team on templates and SOP to help improve design and build timelines
You will also support the project management team for all aspects of power upgrades, including review of designs and load letters, application requirements and evaluation of existing conditions to develop power solutions for our builds.

About the role

You will also support the project management team for all aspects of power upgrades, including review of designs and load letters, application requirements and evaluation of existing conditions to develop power solutions for our builds.
- Review electrical layouts and designs for low-voltage systems and power distribution systems
- Performs calculations for load requirements, voltage drops, and other electrical parameters.
- Oversee the installation of low-voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and equipment placement.
- Manage the program relationship with critical 3rd party Vendor partners for LV and electrical equipment supply and installation
- Support PM team with punch and design trouble shooting
- Collaborates with electricians, technicians, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work with MEP engineers on developing template for all LV and electric equipment
The experience you have
- 5+ years' experience as electrical engineer (licensure not required)
- Knowledge of Low voltage systems
- Ability to use AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Ability to think critically and prioritize competing priorities
- Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to command a room
- Role primarily will be based in New York City
