Position Summary
Senior Accountant will have the opportunity to gain broad experience in many areas of our growing business while working in a top-quality, cross-functional team.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in our GAAP financial reporting, including preparation of the public-company standard, audited annual and quarterly reports. Their main tasks include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses as required for financial reporting. Senior accountant will have an opportunity to assist with acquisitions and other ad hoc projects.

What will your job entail?

Key Accountabilities

Financial
  • Build and review close documentation including lead schedules and roll-forwards support for the reported financial statements.
  • Prepare and/or review detailed account reconciliations underlying the lead schedules.
  • Prepare and review journal entries to the general ledger system in assigned areas.
  • Execute the monthly financial close calendar and coordinate with managers on timing of deliverables.
  • Prepare schedules for external financial reporting and audit support for review.
  • Prepare other non-GAAP and management analyses and reports as needed.
  • Prepare and record Opening Balance Sheet for acquisitions, review support provided by sellers, apply USGAAP and company policies.
  • Comply with SOX standards for the respective areas.
  • Help establish and maintain financial policies and procedures in new ERP system.


Other
  • Working with Finance IT team, actively train and gain knowledge of financial reporting system and report building skills.
  • Working with various corporate departments to improve close timeline and gain better understanding of the data and analysis delivered.
  • Identify efficiencies and implement improvements as the company transitions to new ERP system.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA
  • 3+ years' of accounting experience
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, multitask and think critically in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

The target salary range for this position is $78,050.00 - $95,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
