Job Summary:
This role is in MUFG America's HR Application Technologies team; In this role you will on analysis, design, and delivery of integrated business services with primary focus on Workday HCM integrations. You will focus on analyzing, documenting, and validating business needs in relation to system functionality. You will be able to translate those requirements into design, collaborating with business, global cross-functional and technical teams for development and implementation. You will have good experience of HR business processes, such as- Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll. You have experience as Workday integration developer on implementations or support & enhancements of Workday HCM. You have significant experience and expert level technical skills in Workday, such as- Integrations, Reports, BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool), Workday Studio, Calculated Fields, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), CCB (Cloud Connect for Benefits), XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations), Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, PICOF (Payroll Integration Common Output File), SOAP and REST Web Services, WSDL (Web Service Description Language), RaaS (Reporting as a Service), Business Processes, Security
In this role you will also support Technology governance processes to ensure design, development and implementation of applications programs and services meet organization's information security, risk, change management and other Policy/Standards requirements. You'll ensure process maps and documentation for HR Technology portfolio remain current, and that process changes are effectively led from a control perspective. Experience with current trends in Solution Architecture, Information Security and Information Risk Management is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $114K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. Major Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and support application programs across HR Applications, primarily Workday HCM system.
- Gather, develop, analyze, and/or document clients' requirements; translate into technical specification, such as product/sprint backlog; facilitate the functionalities of applications aligning with requirements.
- Integrate third party services, internal applications and functionalities with Workday and other HCM systems
- Support Change Release, Configuration Deliverables. Responsible for Technical Design, Build and Deployment of assigned projects.
- Responsible for Level 3 & Level 4 support for HCM applications, major Systems Maintenance, Data Retention planning and DR processes.
- Support System Manager in addressing, Issues, findings and breaks associated with supported HCM applications.
- Ensures application systems are reliable and that data files maintain data integrity; application failures and / or data inconsistencies are corrected in an expedient manner; departmental programming standards are maintained for all products placed into production; compliance with data security and auditing requirements of applications responsible.
- Ensure that the appropriate user documentation is provided. Reviews requirements and objectives of projects determines priorities and staffing requirements and schedules, delegates, and coordinates the work of developers.
- Documents, owns, and ensures sustainability of design documents, best practices, version control, Architectural diagrams, process flows and other system/support documentation.
- Ensures compliance with testing and migration standards, as well as consistent change management governance for code promotions across the Workday landscape
- Interface with other technology, Information Security and Architecture teams to ensure systems and projects comply with prevailing Policies and Standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of Workday integrations development experience in an Applications Delivery environment.
- Expert level skills in Workday Integrations, Reports, BIRT, Workday Studio, Calculated Fields, EIB, CCB, XSLT, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, PICOF, SOAP and REST Web Services, WSDL, RaaS, Business Processes, Security.
- Experience with developing Workday integrations to external vendors and internal systems. Good understanding of cloud integration methodologies
- Experience creating, modifying Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), CCB (Cloud Connect for Benefits).
- Understanding of HR business processes, such as- core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management, Benefits, Absence, Payroll Security, and Reporting
- Strong understanding of SDLC concepts, framework, and deliverables; Experience with Agile and waterfall project/product management frameworks
- Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
- Experience in creating test plans and test cases and verify test results against requirements.
- Experience of modern Information Security principles as they apply to SaaS applications
