Head of Solution Architecture - North America

Job Description

As the Head of Solutions Architecture for North America, you will lead a team of highly skilled Solution Architects, driving technical excellence and fostering strategic customer partnerships. You will be instrumental in positioning our company as a leader in open-source and Kubernetes solutions, ensuring our offerings align with the evolving business and technical needs of our enterprise customers. You will champion a customer-centric approach, empowering your team to act as trusted technical advisors, and driving revenue growth through strategic solution design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Solution Architects across North America.
  • Set strategic direction and priorities for the Solutions Architecture team, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and management to support sales and customer success initiatives.


Strategic Customer Engagement:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor at the executive level.
  • Drive strategic engagements, ensuring alignment between customer business objectives and our solutions.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of complex sales cycles, from qualification to closure, ensuring successful solution implementation.


Technical Strategy and Innovation:
  • Drive the development of technical go-to-market strategies, working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Provide technical leadership in the development of product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in open-source and Kubernetes, and provide thought leadership.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to the product and engineering teams.


Sales Enablement and Operational Excellence:
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop and execute account plans, driving solution adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistent CRM hygiene and data accuracy, providing insights into pipeline management and technical validation progress.
  • Oversee the RFI/RFP/RFQ process for the technical responses.
  • Drive cross functional collaboration between sales, support, and engineering.


Competitive Analysis and Market Positioning:
  • Lead competitive analysis efforts, identifying key differentiators and developing strategies to position our solutions effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including white papers, presentations, and technical blogs.


Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in technical leadership, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing Solutions Architecture teams.
  • Deep expertise in open-source technologies, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute technical sales strategies, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Clari).
  • Experience with building and maintaining relationships with large enterprise customers.
  • Experience with designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions.


For US Only - US Pay Transparency Disclaimer
If this role is filled in the United States of America, the starting base salary is expected to be between $193,000 and $353,000. In addition to this base salary, we offer a commission plan and an attractive benefits package. US benefits include a comprehensive medical plan, life and disability insurance, 401k, Employee Assistance Programme and generous paid time off and leave policies.

Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, geographical location, internal equity, and budget. Please note that this salary information is applicable to the US only.
