In this role you will be responsible for building and leading a team that will onboard, integrate, and oversee the ongoing maintenance of software platforms needed to support our organizational data needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of enterprise cloud and data mesh architectures, automation, and orchestration and have excellent verbal and written skills.

The expected base salary ranges from $105,000-$150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage platform team members
- Set standards for platform management
- Manages JIRA and project backlog for direct reports with daily standups and bi-weekly sprints.
- Hires, trains staff and communicates job expectations, providing planning and performance appraisals.
- Onboards new software platforms including configuration, security, integration, and support.
- Creates and implements SLAs for new and existing platforms.
- Ensures the stability and operability of the environment by monitoring health checks, performance, and logs.
- Performs regular maintenance such as upgrades and patching.
- Ensures that all data platforms are following approved policies and regulatory guideline procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years supporting enterprise applications and platform integrations
- 5+ years with scripting languages (IaC based development)
- 5+ years with supporting Linux (mostly RHEL but other variants as well) and Windows
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation skills for platform
- Ability to set platform standards and enforce standards
- Able to work with a team to efficiently organize and prioritize tasks for multiple projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Azure services relevant for building cloud platforms (i.e. AKV, Azure Blob, etc.)
- Hands-on experience working with security protocols (i.e. OAuth, SCIM, Key Vaults, TLS, IDM).
- Understands enterprise network topology such as firewalls, VLANs, private links, and private endpoints.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (especially for cloud-based platforms).
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift or similar Kubernetes managed service.
AN ADDED ADVANTAGE:
- Experience with orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow.
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Kafka, especially in a Kubernetes environment.
