The Santa Clara Site Hardware Test Center(HTC) provides quality leadership, testing and regulatory submittals for the local R&D groups as part of New Product Introduction programs and qualification services for select manufacturing sites worldwide. This position will lead the HTC team and collaborate with partners to create and execute on plans that assure products meet project schedules and objectives to include quality, compliance, and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that quality products are designed and manufactured by Agilent, and are in alignment and in compliance with national, regional and global regulations, company policies and business objectives.
  • Lead development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Leads the hardware test center (HTC) to include equipment, people and processes.
  • Develops and implements programs and processes to ensure that Agilent products are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversees and directs quality and/or regulatory activities and executes key strategic programs within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Ensures quality management system (QMS) procedures are accurate and current.
  • Provides expertise in translating regulatory requirements into practical, workable plans.
  • Acts as a change agent to help establish a customer-centered and quality culture.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience as a manager, supervisor and/or individual contributor
  • 1+ years experience formally or informally leading people, projects and/or programs for entry to this level
  • 5+ years working in a quality test lab environment is helpful
  • Solid understanding of quality standards and test methods to include EMC, product safety, dynamics and environmental
  • Experience in leading the execution of processes, projects and tactics

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $148,992.00 - $232,800.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
