This is a senior-level, highly technical lead position where the candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, planning, designing solutions, modernizing, implementing, enabling, and supporting the Public Cloud Platforms for build/deployment automation across multiple projects/business units. The candidate must be able to lead team members, multiple projects, and agile processes as well as articulately present new modern enterprise Cloud capabilities to our customers to increase adoption and awareness. The candidate will focus on delivering secure, resilient and compliant cloud environments that enable applications teams to deliver maximum value to the business. With a high focus on automation, the candidate will leverage existing industry best practices as well as lead the development of new best practices to enable technical innovation in the financial services industry.
Cloud Engineering and Operations - Via automation and other means, implement platform related resources in the Cloud Platform. This may include but not limited to certificates, keys, storage, compute, and network resources
Exercise strong leadership in technical decision direction
With expert level technical acumen, influence architecture and engineering decisions for made at the Enterprise-level Solution Design - For assigned projects, the candidate must work with Line of Businesses to define and manage implementation designs including system diagrams, data models and business process diagrams as well as engage with enterprise architects for design collaboration and review for software build and deployment automation
Solution Implementation - Oversee the implementation of projects to ensure the implementation is consistent with design decisions, standards, and best practices
Experience building out a cloud operating model and container strategy with is a plus
Performance Metrics - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to promulgate success factors for the entire software portfolio
Risk Management - managing different audit requirements for compliance and remediating any audit issues that may arise
Disaster Recovery - implementing and testing the DR plans for the Cloud Platform.
Change/Release Management - Knowledge of ITIL tools (e.g. ServiceNow) for operational and service efficiency

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for leading a team of product managers and product owners, setting direction and priorities for products, services, and experiences.
1. Responsible for understanding industry landscape, competitive environment, and voice of client
2. Develop product roadmaps in collaboration with Relationship Managers and Line of Business (LOB) partners.
3. Manage teams that develop and groom backlog from EPICS down to user stories in partnership with LOB, User Experience/User Interface, Content, Technology, and Operations
4. Partner with Tech Agile teams on development, rollout, and post-production support
5. Partner with Legal, Risk, & Compliance on new product development and remediation when applicable
6. Partner with associated LOBs, marketing, operation, and readiness teams on commercialization and rollout
7. Responsible for the client experience/results/KPIs of assigned platforms
8. Manage product pricing, including modeling pricing changes
9. Manage annual budget, including monthly forecasting
10. Hire, mentor and manage team members; proactively provide timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback in efforts to cultivate appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning
11. Responsible for leading teams across related but disparate functions to support successful deployment of new products and integrated experiences
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of seven+ years in a combination of professional services and financial services industry
2. Five+ years of product management experience
3. Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
4. Deep and broad experience in digital banking, financial services, or other complex transactional services
5. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and large scale projects
6. Demonstrable understanding and application of digital concepts and technology
7. Ability to lead initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle, including post implementation
8. Bachelors' degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; banking or financial management education or equivalent education and related training
9. Strong strategic thinker, with ability to quickly assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, and focus on relevant facts
10. Demonstrated experience in managing a varied team of professionals in a project-based environment and a proven ability to coach and develop a team
11. Outstanding skills presenting/communicating ideas and data to Executive level leaders

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in related field or comparable IT experience is required
- 10+ years of experience working in IT organizations, preferably in financial services organizations
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development lifecycle
- 7+ years of experience in software development, build/release management, & change/incident management
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration
- Experience with enterprise SDLC tools
- Experience creating runbooks as well as software build/deployment best practices
- Achieved one or more of the Public Cloud Associate-level certifications or Professional-level certifications
- Achieved one of the Terraform associate-level certification
- Expert understanding of Cloud Industry concepts and services such as but not limited to: XaaS, IAM, IAAA, Serverless, Disaster Recovery, DevOps, Server, Storage, and Networking
- Strong people management and team building skills
- Strong knowledge of the ITIL process is a plus
- Expert background in IT systems administration
- Extensive participation in Agile/Scrum best practices and methodology
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to think and plan long term, but execute to these goals in short-term
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation
