Driven by a strong understanding of RSM's business, industry and LOB growth objectives, the Canada cross-LOB Marketing Senior Associate drives the execution of tactics within Canada aligned to the overall LOB marketing strategy and collaborates with the LOB/service line marketers to bring fresh, innovative ideas to expand the business. The marketer collaborates with service line marketers to understand business strategies and execute on marketing efforts that align with strategies. In addition, the marketer collaborates with peers in national LOB marketing, as well as demand generation, to ensure that Canada is well integrated into North American campaigns.

Responsibilities:

With oversight from the national LOB marketing leaders, implements the marketing strategy and plan through hyper collaboration and co-development with CMG colleagues across LOBs, and in centers of excellence to position the solutions through middle market issues and reflective of client needs:
Partners with demand generation and centers of excellence to execute multichannel digital marketing campaigns and tactics.
Informs market development teams of relevant programming that drives growth and enables opportunities to develop relationships; ensures communication of programs aligned with CMG communications strategies, throughout the CMG and LOB organizations to relevant audiences; obtains feedback from local office teams on programming, delivery and relevance to audience and adapts programs to reflect input; share results of programming.
In collaboration with marketing leader, drives performance goals and objectives for assigned areas of responsibility and leverages data analytics to measure performance, communicate results and continually improve performance. Understands and leverages data across CRM, web, and other platforms to measure and improve performance. Collaborates with CMG COEs to evolve understanding of marketing data analytics for performance.
Delivers marketing projects that span services and offerings, executes strategy, plan and delivery, and measure results against performance goals. Communicates impact and plan for continuous improvement:
Organizes conferences/events for any key national associations and strategic vendors taking place in Canada. Partners with COEs as needed, to effectively and efficiently deliver high value events. Collaborates with market development leaders as appropriate to leverage association relationships locally.
Understands industry strategies and how they intersect with LOB; participates in national industry marketing meetings to foster collaboration.
Meets regularly with the leaders of assigned service line(s).

Other:
Contributes to the development of marketing framework and budget annually, representing assigned service lines and offerings. Provides quarterly and "as needed" updates to CMG leader and business stakeholders.
Partners with CMG COEs to execute plans, achieve business objectives and deliver shared results. Continually improve performance through collaboration and communication.
Establishes and evolves competency in digital marketing, leveraging expertise of COE, as well as learning and development plans. Develops competency and understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics, applying across plans to achieve and improve performance
Builds and grows strong understanding of assigned service line(s) though continuous learning plan, as well as ongoing learning from SMEs and practice professionals.
TAX/AUDIT ONLY: Manages flow of content from the business (beyond what is planned in the content plan)

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills-required
Microsoft Office suite and Dynamics- required
Understanding of SEO and SEM-required
Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills-required
Understanding of digital marketing ecosystem -required
Basic competency in marketing data analytics- required
Ability to learn new subject areas quickly- required
Workfront- preferred

EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of leading marketing/growth efforts- required
Experience in B2B environment -required
Proven success executing marketing tactics -required

LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Thorough understanding of various marketing channels-required
Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done-required
Highly collaborative and able to work within a team to achieve stated goals-required
Ability to initiate crucial conversations and with support influence decisions-required
Proven experience working in a complex, matrixed environment- required
Strong attention to detail and experience working in a virtual environment -required

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $73,000 - $106,000
