Position Overview
Shaw Industries is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager in Northwest Georgia to lead and develop a team of recruiters in support of our business objectives. In this role, you will create and execute a talent strategy that aligns with Shaw's current and future hiring needs, ensuring we attract and recruit high-quality talent across the organization.
You'll work closely with HR and business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into effective recruiting plans. As a leader, you'll coach and support your team to deliver strong results and continuously grow in their roles.
This position also includes regular evaluation of recruiting tools, processes, and practices to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with EEO requirements-ensuring we're always positioned to bring the best talent to Shaw.
This role requires regular on-site presence at our Dalton, GA office to foster collaboration and maintain strong partnerships with business and HR leaders.

Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with HRBPs and business partners to develop a talent acquisition strategy and ensure alignment of recruiting needs
- Recruit for and proactively source executive level, as well as other senior-level positions, leveraging market insights, strategic sourcing techniques, and strong business partnerships to identify top-tier talent for key leadership roles.
- Provide Leadership and Coaching to team of Talent Acquisition Recruiters, currently directly supporting our Sales & Marketing, IT, Corporate Administration & Integrated Supply Chain teams. Participate in efforts across the department that span beyond this direct area of leadership.
- Provide leadership guidance and oversight of our selection process
- Regularly evaluate recruiting tactics, processes, technology and resources to ensure alignment to business priorities
- Monitor recruiting effectiveness metrics to ensure alignment with business direction, and make adjustments as needed
- Proactively support efforts to simplify and enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience
- Share knowledge and identifies opportunities for candidates, both internal and external, and is a resource to them in their professional development. Provide appropriate direction and coaching that may impact future career decisions.
- Support and engage in associate retention and development activities, in coordination with HR business partners, when appropriate.
- Ensure processes are compliant with Federal, State and Local legal requirements
- Effectively partner with Early Careers and Workforce Development teams to nurture and develop effective talent pipelines.
- Serve as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership team and support and enable the Talent Acquisition Strategy for the enterprise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Human Resources experience - 5 years
- Specialized Experience in Recruiting/Talent Sourcing in the areas of Sales & Marketing, IT, Corporate Administration & Integrated Supply Chain - 5 years
- Management Experience - 5+ years
- Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies
- Knowledge of staffing and employment practices
- Knowledge of social recruiting trends
- Flexibility to travel as needed
