As a Contracts and Proposals specialist, you will support revenue growth by ensuring proposals and questionnaires are well written and compelling, positioning TransUnion as the preferred vendor, increasing our likelihood to secure all proposals. RFx and questionnaire repositories are maintained with a high degree of accuracy to ensure future proposals leverage previous responses, driving efficiency with the engagement of internal resources and thus expediting proposal response time.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' experience managing contracts and proposals, leading the RFx bids and tenders process (drafting and management at the federal and provincial level), and responding to client questionnaires pertaining to business practices and security, preferably in the credit or financial services industry.
- 5+ years' experience supporting and drafting sales terms and pricing documentation.
- English and French written proficiency is required, with the ability to translate ideas and strategies into coherent and professional written documentation.
- Proven ability to effectively project manage the proposals process from end-to-end including engagement of all relevant stakeholders, scheduling of all meetings, documentation of meeting minutes, ensuring all proposal due dates are met and holding the pen on all proposal documentation including the final submission.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work with and coordinate across several cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization, as well as engage customers during the proposal lifecycle and post-proposal submission.
- Exceptionally strong business writer with high attention to detail and familiarity with contract language and legal terminology. Ability to draft comprehensive and compelling proposals, and pricing addendums as required.
- Financial acumen with the ability to effectively review pricing and commercials as part of a proposals draft, as well as general deal structuring oversight required in pricing addendums.
- A self-starter with superior organizational skills, has the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Ability to think outside of the box, innovative and keen to refine and document processes to drive improved alignment and execution of proposals and contracts.
- Experience with managing bid boards, and familiarity with RFx tools including Responsive.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce.com.

As a Contracts and Proposals specialist, you will support revenue growth by ensuring proposals and questionnaires are well written and compelling, positioning TransUnion as the preferred vendor, increasing our likelihood to secure all proposals. RFx and questionnaire repositories are maintained with a high degree of accuracy to ensure future proposals leverage previous responses, driving efficiency with the engagement of internal resources and thus expediting proposal response time.
- Regular review of current processes to identify and implement improvements including automation and streamlining workflows and communication. Proficiency in using CRM/RFx tools including Salesforce.com and Responsive is required.
- Create and own all process documentation and platforms including the Proposals Playbook, response repositories, proposals and questionnaires SharePoint site, and project Teams channels.
- Project manage and draft all proposals from end-to-end.
- Coordinate with multiple business units including Legal, Compliance and Information Security teams to ensure appropriate terms and conditions, etc. are contained within every proposal and questionnaire.
- Manage all post-submission and close-out proposal activities - host de-brief sessions with internal teams, and with the customer following receipt of decision, communicate and catalogue learnings and implement process improvements as needed.
- Establish a process to measure and track win/loss data for proposals.
- Maintain a high degree of product knowledge through ongoing training, with the ability to effectively review and refine proposal responses received from the business.
- Maintain a high degree of financial and deal structuring acumen through ongoing training and act as the primary internal point of contact for pricing addendums.
- Source proposal opportunities through daily review of bid boards and consult with Sales to determine suitability with our portfolio and align on next steps (go/no-go).
- Support special projects involving contract review and/or revision, including but not limited to annual and one-off repricing initiatives, and service level compliance reviews.
- Additional ad-hoc assignments as directed to meet business needs.
