Position Overview
The Digital Communications professional will create and implement a comprehensive strategy to effectively leverage social channels to help achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong writing, intellectual curiosity and project management skills, the ability to navigate a complex organization and deep expertise in social channels. The candidate will also have unquestionable integrity, be passionate about our work, have the presence to work with senior leaders and work collaboratively with teams across the firm to best position the company and its diverse global business segments to our stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a comprehensive social strategy to effectively leverage social channels to achieve specific business outcomes, including paid social advertising campaigns.
- Primary driver of corporate digital strategy efforts and advocate of integration of all social channel initiatives across the company.
- Track and evaluate performance of digital efforts across all social platforms and against business objectives. Leverage analytics to test, learn and drive social content strategy.
- Educate business partners and leaders on how to integrate and align social channels with their specific business objectives.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement across Apollo's social presence on an ongoing basis and work with internal teams and agency support to implement changes.
- Serve as subject matter expert on social strategy, and provide guidance on new platform opportunities, social channels, best practices and help train team members when needed.
- Help to maintain internal content libraries (i.e. content management systems like HearSay) and work in partnership with team members who lead other digital platforms like Today@Apollo and Apollo.com.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial matters into engaging content, tailored to a variety of channels and audiences.
- Critical thinker who utilizes excellent judgement in decision-making.
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual, who thrives in a dynamic and passionate work environment, able to respond quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Thorough understanding of existing and emerging social communications' channels and ability to drive business outcomes through appropriate channel selection. Able to coach others on appropriate selection of channels, depending on audience and desired outcomes.
- Extensive knowledge of digital operating systems, content management systems, and publishing tools; expertise across all social media platforms; knowledge of Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign a plus.
- Understanding of AI, including how it could best be used by communications and social teams.
- Campaign experience and analytical skills to regularly test & learn, interpret campaign data and metrics.
