We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in helping our business leaders by identifying and delivering new business opportunities for T-Mobile and our customers. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-driven professional with the ability to think broadly and strategically while bolstering T-Mobile's business and delivering results and recommendations to drive acquisition and partnership decisions. In this role, the Senior Business Development Manager will focus on creating and sustaining key partnerships for our loyalty program, Magenta Status, while collaborating with and supporting the overall vision of leadership.
This role has a focus on driving the operational management and various functions for the business development and partnerships team. To be successful, this position will work closely with the marketing partnership team to deliver brand partnerships that align with the marketing strategy focusing on customer needs for both near-term and long-term goals.
*** This position must be located in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS requiring at a minimum of 3 days a week in office.

Base Pay Range: $120,500 - $217,400
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. Job Responsibilities:
- Establish best in class processes and procedures, internal partnership updates, business review templates and monthly reporting.
- Create internal and external presentations including the development of case studies, pitch decks, and other needs of the business.
- Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution as requested by Magenta Status and T-Life leadership.
- Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships
- Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in a variety of industries - both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems.
- Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (Required)
- Work Experience:
- 7+ years business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis (Required)
- Experience in consumer-focused, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries (Required)
- Experience in a results-driven, entrepreneurial work environment
- Strong intuition for business with a constructive and proactive approach to problem solving
- History of operations management and marketing support
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Broad industry experience and/or Telecommunications industry experience
- Strong Negotiation skills incorporating overall business objectives in developing strategy and decisions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to key partners
- Tight-knit collaboration skills with consistent track record to building trust through cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
- Excellent judgment, discretion with critical information, mature personality, and experience working and communicating with executives
- Confident and experienced in Financial Analysis and proven financial competence
- Highly motivated and self-directed, thrives while balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced, results driven environment
