Our Team:
You will work on Medidata's next generation of SaaS-based clinical trial management applications, deployed on AWS and you will help develop our new platform. Our philosophy here is that if you show focus and commitment, on the back of a solid foundation in application engineering, we will train and invest in you to develop your experience in our platform technologies.
You will join our Medidata Rave CTMS team: https://www.medidata.com/en/products/ctms. You will report to Product Engineering manager for Rave CTMS. Our development team is located in Hammersmith, London.
The Rave CTMS platform provides efficient monitoring of clinical studies with integrated workflows. It improves the Clinical Research Associate experience, aids proactive decision-making, and reduces risk and costs, to increase study performance, patient safety, and time to market for the drug/device. Put another way, it's saving lives. This product is used by over 1,000 pharmaceutical companies, biotech, medical device firms, academic medical centres and contract research organisations around the world.
Who we're looking for:
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $114,750 - 153,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Who we're looking for:
- Passionate about application Development.
- Work in a dynamic and geographically distributed team.
- Eager to participate in high impact, challenging Engineering problems while raising the standards of quality of the product.
- Experience with design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
- Experience programming in Java 17+ and JEE frameworks like Spring / Micronaut/ Quarkus.
- Understanding of Object-oriented design concepts.
- Experience working in a microservice ecosystem and developing cloud-based web applications.
- TDD/BDD Experience.
- Data querying abilities in SQL and NoSQL (MySQL/Postgres/MongoDB).
- Experience with Github for versioning and CI/CD.
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCloud).
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years work experience.
