Description:
ARD's minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field, as well as 5 years' experience in Process Improvement or a related industrial engineering position. Project management skills for Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen Activities, Lean Manufacturing, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Access Database, Visio, Power Bi, FlexSim, SQL, and Python are required. The ability to travel domestically and internationally to support GAA business activities as needed is required.
- Provide a tactical approach and project management expertise for cross-functional teams by utilizing Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies addressing production flow, procedures, and process studies to discover potential improvement opportunities throughout GAA's operations to deliver significant and robust value.
- Facilitate, Train and Mentor CI Team and Site Leadership to Institutionalize Lean Manufacturing capabilities in how to work, demonstrated by Hands-on and Coached application of robust process improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing principles, 6S, Root Cause Analysis, etc. Ensure activities are consistent with and built upon the GAA Standards and Best Practices.
- Provide input for and lead the improvement of key strategic improvement goals for the site. These measures include lead time, inventory turns, Internal and External Quality, Safety Incident Rate, Unit Productivity, OEE, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Less Waste, Layout, etc.
- Models results-oriented attitude among peers and those supported to achieve team objectives, including achievement of the Sites CI Savings targets and accurate tracking of savings data well aligned with Finance.
- Develop People - Work with all levels, from the operation floor to top management, to increase maturity and understanding of a lean culture
- Drive teams toward timely execution, thorough completion of projects, and track key metrics related to GAA implementation.
- Provide appropriate documentation and project update communication to Leadership. Collaborates with all departments and individuals affected by CI projects.
