The Executive Director of Physician Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top physicians, Advance Practice Providers (APP) and clinical leadership talent for Beth Israel Lahey Health. This leadership role ensures alignment with the organization's mission, strategic goals, and workforce planning needs. The Executive Director collaborates with senior leadership, medical staff, and Human Resources to build a strong physician pipeline and enhance the recruitment experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in physician recruitment, healthcare talent acquisition, or related leadership roles.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of physician compensation models, credentialing, and healthcare regulations.
Ability to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing and executing recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals.
Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruitment professionals.
Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships with physicians, medical staff, and external stakeholders.
Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration and presentations.
Negotiation: Proficient in contract negotiations with physicians and recruitment partners.
Data Analysis: Competence in analyzing recruitment metrics and workforce data to drive decisions.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to address challenges and devise creative, effective solutions.
Time Management: Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement physician, APPs and clinical leader recruitment strategies to meet the organization's staffing needs.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of physicians and APPs, where applicable.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: Work closely with hospital administrators, department and division chairs, and physician leaders to understand recruitment priorities.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and organizational policies in physician recruitment and contracting.
- Marketing & Outreach: Develop branding and marketing initiatives to attract top-tier physician talent through job postings, career fairs, and residency/fellowship outreach.
- Data & Analytics: Monitor key recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and report to leadership on recruitment effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the physician recruitment budget to optimize resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the recruitment team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Partner with executive and clinical leadership to assess and address physician, APPs and clinical leader workforce needs.
- Lead and manage a team of Recruiters and other staff to achieve recruitment objectives.
- Analyze and address physician, APPs and clinical leader workforce needs, contributing to overall strategic planning.
- Enhanced reporting, KPIs and efforts to maximize recruitment related spend.
Recruitment and Sourcing:
- Identify and recruit top-tier physicians, APPs and clinical leaders for diverse specialties and roles.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to successful onboarding.
- Collaborate with the designated recruitment team to lead Chair and Clinical leadership roles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates and TA resources.
- Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and market dynamics in physician, APP and clinical leader recruitment.
Onboarding and Retention:
- Manage and enhance the onboarding experience for new physicians to ensure a smooth transition.
- Collaborate on strategies to improve retention rates with clinical leadership within the system.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with physicians, medical groups, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational objectives.
Performance Management:
- Evaluate the recruitment team's performance, providing coaching and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Lead in the support of a strong culture of respect and belonging and work on the development and implementation of efforts that prioritize collaboration and career satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
