What you'll do...
At Sam's Club, as a Director, Finance - Connected Planning (Sam's Club), you play a critical role building and strengthening business optimization and financial planning capabilities to create a connected end-to-end planning experience. You will help revolutionize how the Business and Finance set long-term strategic financial targets, achieve short-term goals, and successfully deliver value to our members, associates and stakeholders by creating a connected planning experience across all functions. We deliver value by working with a team comprised of the business, product, engineering, data sciences, and design; collaborating with cross-functional partners, including merchandising, operations, supply chain, membership and others; and leveraging innovative technologies, such as machine learning and GenAI.
We're looking for someone who can work in whitespace, clearly articulate how the vision and value align to the strategy, make prioritization decisions around what is delivered first, is comfortable flexing into the details of the work while also summarizing key messages for leadership, and has a high level of financial acumen. Ability to partner well and bring all functions along will be key.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

You'll make an impact by:
- Being a Trusted Partner, Collaborator, and Change Agent: Develop strong and trusting relationships within Sam's Club and Walmart business teams. Serve as the go-to business lead - connecting cross-functional partners to solve issues, addressing pain points and implementing solutions together vs. in silos. Deliver change management strategies to bring partners along the journey and influence different ways of thinking.
- Translating Problem Statements into Actionable Solutions - Listening, learning and understanding existing processes across all areas of the business to identify solutions which revolutionize, simplify, optimize and connect the business. Deliver a prioritized roadmap with clear, concise and actionable solutions.
