Responsibilities:
- Liaise with partners to lead in establishing, managing and implementing policy adoption plans, compliance metrics, communications and training
- Lead business analysis through collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements, to understand requirements and aligning these to Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls standards to drive appropriate solutions.
- This role would be first focused on the delivery of Data plan use cases as it relates to use of Risk data in Capital Model calculations and Finance owned Stress Calculations. After meeting consent order deadlines on Credit Risk needs related to data provided for Liquidity, Prudential Reporting, Capital Planning (including CCAR/ DFSAT), FFIEC 101/102 and COREP.
- Contribute to the establishment of Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls standards in alignment with Enterprise Chief Data Office, and ensure proper documentation of processes
- Support key Data Transformation projects across the organization as Subject Matter Expert in data policies
- Lead activities to ensure roles and responsibilities related to data are understood and implemented across businesses
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely execution of milestones, provide reporting of potential risks to delivery, and incorporate milestone reporting and changes
- Capture requirements, develops delivery plans and manages the entire lifecycle of metrics and report production
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
What you will be doing:
- Partner with Risk Data Analytics Reporting & Technology, Risk Management and Data Providers to define scope, risk reduction metrics, issues, and data requirements for Wholesale Risk
- Monitor delivery of Tactical and Strategic Fixes as required for Risk use cases
- Provide Risk input into related strategic architecture efforts
- Support the documentation of data at rest and data in motion
- Responsible for QA/QC and Audit reviews of the completed deliverables
- Ensure that execution of Risk use-cases is aligned with ICG and Finance execution plans and have good understanding of risk reduction metrics
- Partner with DART, Risk and Data Providers to monitor issues via the Data Concern Remediation Management process to ensure that issues are appropriately prioritized and do not negatively impact progress toward Risk Reduction Targets
What we need from you:
- Proven track record of success in risk and/or finance information analytics and implementation of data management related initiatives
- Subject matter knowledge of Counterparty Credit risk BAU and stressed calculations.
- Ability to work across all levels of management and functions independently and effectively to accomplish the mission
- Process knowledge and the prior experience working on QA/QC of the complex programs - ability to utilize tools to optimize those processes
- Demonstrated strong leadership experience, especially in transitioning or challenged environments (including strong facilitation skills)
- Knowledge of risk management and reporting processes and an understanding of various Risk categories, including Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Operational Risk. Experience in risk data, risk and financial platform implementations and managing risk systems.
- Understanding of Trading Book products is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, appreciation of the enterprise data vision
- Flexible, team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Experience of change management with program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor, and report on concurrent, multiple projects
- A bachelor's or master's degree
