The Platform Validation team in the Client and Computing Group (CCG) organization is looking for Telemetry Based Validation Architect to join our highly motivated team. We drive quality and integration of Intel's latest client platforms to market. You will work with Intel's ingredient, system validation and Intel partners for generating insights, triage, debug and promote platform quality using telemetry. This role entails leading the architecture of early adoption and telemetry in Platform Validation. The Scope includes hands-on work with cutting edge client hardware and software in a challenging environment supporting product releases and integrations for multiple configurations and usages.

This role gives you opportunity to work closely with engineering and architecture leads from the product groups at Intel and drive CCG product quality. An ideal candidate will leverage a combination of Windows architecture, debug knowledge, business acumen, windows internals expertise, programming, data flows, cloud architectures, security, and data analysis. In this role responsibilities may include and not limited to:
  • Effectively collaborate and work with different teams/stakeholders to define, analyze and use telemetry data for debug, validation, and quality assurance purposes.
  • Ability to understand and drive work with telemetry infrastructure capabilities, cloud architectures, data collection techniques and database management systems.
  • Build and maintain data flows, new insights, data models, dashboards, and software applications useful for debugging and verification purpose.
  • Senior/Expert Windows OS Debugger, understanding of Intel Platform Architecture, Hardware specifications and standards set across different platforms.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate success in communicating plans, status, issues, and concerns.
  • Able to work independently with little guidance and be team-player vested in the team's success.
  • Able to lead others to build data solutions in cloud.


A Telemetry Based Validation Architect needs to collaborate across teams and disciplines to effectively prioritize business needs by innovating using telemetry-based debug.

Skillset that we are looking for:
  • Independent, quick self-sufficient learner.
  • Effective in written and verbal communication skills and leadership skills
  • Proficient in windows internals and debug.
  • Adept analytical skills, ability to transform data to insights and define data requirements, knowledge of database management systems (e.g., sql, mongo, cosmos), alongside data analysis tools such as Splunk, Power BI, Elastic etc.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with software development process (Agile/Scrum) and version-control system for source-code sharing (Git).
  • Mastery in software design patterns and architecture, including cloud architectures, cloud and software security.
  • Willingness adapt to other programming languages and scripts e.g., PowerShell, batch, VBScript and has expertise in Python, javascript, C#


Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant/industry experience OR
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant/industry experience


Relevant or Industry experience in:
  • Experience in Windows technology integration and software debugging
  • Experience in architect cloud solutions, including hands on coding and security practices.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in PC firmware, software, OS and/or HW architecture.
  • Knowledge of PC architecture, operating systems, software life cycle, software validation methodologies, tools, and processes.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$146,520.00-$206,860.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
