This posting will be used to fill one (1) full-time (75 hours biweekly) term vacancy until December 26, 2025. This posting will also establish a 12-month eligibility list which will be used to fill anticipatory perm, term, casual and AOC positions.

This opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide therapeutic recreation assessments and formulate individualized and/or group therapy plans, treatment goals and objectives. You will facilitate the development, maintenance and expression of an appropriate leisure lifestyle to individuals with physical, mental, social and/or emotional impairment or limitations. You will also provide clinical direction to the Therapy Assistants, and provide support to staff and volunteers

- Baccalaureate Degree in therapeutic recreation/recreation therapy
- Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Certificate by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRA)
- Experience in clinical recreation assessment and treatment of residents, program development and implementation (in a long-term care setting, is preferred)
- Experience supervising staff or volunteers is an asset
