Salary Posting:
The base salary compensation, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary), will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity. Title: Analyst II Ops Excellence
Position Summary
Provide administrative support to the asphalt plant operations and paving business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with asphalt plants and paving operations to compile the daily plant schedule
- Assist with updating the daily asphalt plant production worksheet
- Assist with outside sales which includes taking sales orders and incorporating orders into the daily schedule
- Provide technical information or support to callers and/or direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Receive on raw material PO's for asphalt plants
- Create and maintain spreadsheets/data to assist in managing asphalt & paving business
- Assist management team with other special projects or assignments
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Work Experience
- 2+ years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize time sensitive deadlines
