The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware and software engineering, coupled with deep experience in program management. Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end execution of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed program roadmaps, schedules, and key milestones.
- Define and track program success metrics, ensuring effective execution and continuous improvement.
- Align cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, manufacturing, and product teams, to deliver projects on schedule.
- Ensure high visibility of program status to senior leadership through dashboards and executive reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, product management, and external partners.
- Drive alignment across teams by facilitating regular program reviews and status meetings.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders, proactively driving issue resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to manage program dependencies effectively.
- Identify potential risks early in the development cycle and drive risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement contingency planning and proactive issue resolution to minimize delays.
- Work with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve program blockers efficiently.
- Establish best practices for technical program management, leveraging industry-leading methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Stage-Gate, etc.).
- Optimize workflows and project tracking through effective use of program management tools.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across program execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the hardware, semiconductor, lidar, or related technology sectors.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of hardware/software development, manufacturing processes, and systems integration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Atlassian tools.
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a highly technical, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
