Job Summary
CAMP is seeking an experienced Corporate Staff Accountant III to join our Accounting team in its San Diego, CA office. This role is integral in managing complex consolidations, M&A and intercompany transactions, and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can collaborate cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Consolidations:
Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for multiple business units and regions
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictions
Assist in preparation of supporting schedules
General Ledger & Intercompany Accounting:
Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple subsidiaries
Perform and review complex account reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions
Work closely with tax teams to ensure accurate transfer pricing and intercompany allocations
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize workflows and accounting software functionality
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Support
Work closely with FP&A, tax, and legal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, acquisitions, and investment decisions
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial insights
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
6+ years' experience in a similar role
Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity consolidations
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills required
Ability to navigate complex intercompany transactions and multi-currency accounting
Excellent attention to detail and a focus on data quality and integrity
Effective as a team player and working autonomously
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and with minimal supervision
Bonus Points
CPA or progress toward certification
Experience supporting M&A transactions and post-merger financial integration and accounting
Familiarity with transfer pricing
