Kuiper IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization.
Key job responsibilities
\tThis is a 2nd shift position working Mon-Fri 5:00PM shift start.
\tPerform work via ticketing system while maintaining standard work compliance
\tInteract with network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
\tProvide technical support for different test stations and their components and associated software
\tMaintain system security and ensure compliance with industry standards
\tRespond to and resolve critical infrastructure issues
\tPerform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
\tAssist with project implementations and technology deployments
\tParticipate in oncall responsibilities.

Kuiper IT Services is a fast paced technical support organization that is focused on supporting large scale business initiatives while keeping a Day1 mentality. Our support scope involves several highly technical areas such as Production Operations, Lab Operations, Launch, and Warehousing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
- 3+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
- 3+ years of technical support experience
- 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
- Capable of working in manufacturing and laboratory environments
- Perform OnCall duties as required
- Perform occasional travel as dictated by business need
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of supporting a windows server environment experience
- Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
- CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $122,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
