This position is primarily focused on providing DI services to the Inpatient populations at the Foothills Medical Centre (FMC), Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre (AJCCCC), and South Health Campus (SHC). Additional responsibilities will extend to High River and the Urgent Care Centers located in Airdrie, Cochrane, and Okotoks. The individual will serve as a Diagnostic Neuro-Imaging Physician and Radiologist, addressing critical patient needs across these facilities.
The role will entail evening coverage for EFW AHS sites, as well as overnight and weekend Neuro call. This diverse clinical commitment ensures comprehensive care and rapid response to acute situations.
Given the position's primary base at FMC Campus and SHC, there is a strong emphasis on education and mentorship. The candidate will play a vital role in teaching both residents and fellows. Instruction will encompass not only technical skills related to imaging and diagnostics but also the leadership and organizational skills necessary to function effectively as a medical authority within a busy Diagnostic Imaging Department.
As part of an academic radiology team, the incumbent will actively participate in research initiatives, recognizing the importance of advancing medical knowledge. This position is designed to foster collaborative relationships that enhance both educational and research efforts, promoting a culture of inquiry and innovation within the department.

Qualifications:
- The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. FRCPC (Diagnostic Radiology), and Radiology Fellowship Training.
- Must read, write and speak English.
