Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer based in Santa Clara, CA with at least 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development. The ideal person will have hands-on experience in C/C++ , Rust and/or Golang. Coursework and/or professional experience in computer architecture and operating systems.
Location: Mountain View, CA.
Remote Option: Hybrid
What you'll do (Duties and Responsibilities):
Contribute to a friendly and helpful company culture

Pay attention to detail, understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs
Think critically about complex technical problems
End-to-end ownership of features/bugs
Identify problems/risks and provide technical solutions to improve the product quality
Follow security best practices (don't worry, we'll tell you what they are)
Requirements
What you'll need (Basic Qualifications)
At least 5+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer
Hands on experience in Rust, C/C++, or Golang
Hands on experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Mongodb etc
Hands on experience working in Linux environment
A PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent training or work experience
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
Have Security experience (Crypto, Key Management, PKI)
Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficient in Linux kernel (CPU scheduling, file system, network, I/O, memory management, etc.)
