Opening in early 2026, Riverside Smithfield Hospital will bring high-quality healthcare closer to home for Isle of Wight County residents. Located on a beautifully landscaped 27-acre medical campus at 19339 Benn's Grant Boulevard in Smithfield, the new hospital will provide modern facilities and comprehensive medical services to meet the growing needs of the community.

The 200,000-square-foot, three-story facility will offer a range of essential healthcare services including an Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging Services, 34 Medical/Surgical beds, 10 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and 4 Operating Rooms. Overview
Responsible for the daily coordination and operational management in all areas of Imaging Services for designated sites, and hospital Therapy Service Department. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, directing and evaluating inpatient and outpatient services within the aforementioned service areas. Provides leadership and mentorship/support to the team members of the department. As a clinical expert in Imaging, ensures the provision of competent imaging services by validating staff competency in the range/care in accordance with standards of excellence age specific and cultural sensitivity established by the system goals and strategic plans. Maintains ACR accreditation and standards. Works through the leadership team to provide administrative oversight and direction in the provision of a comprehensive range of services. Works directly in patient care as needed in licensed areas. Works with system clinical resources to ensure the provision of competent services in the respiratory and therapy services departments.

What you will do

• Ensures department(s) produce high quality outcomes following appropriate protocols, procedures, and documentation.
• Responsible for team application and understanding of all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Ensures team consistently follows RHS policies and procedures. Reports variances.
• Reviews variance reports, responses to analysis/trending with action plans which support departmental budgets goals. Completes annual budget planning for assigned areas and ensures departmental expenses are allocated to meet needs. Reviews CDM updates for effective charge capture and correct documentation.
