ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Current Finance team is looking to hire a Director of Capital Markets to help fuel our growth with flexible, low-cost capital.

This role has a base salary range of $200,000 - $260,000 Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process. ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Current Finance team is looking to hire a Director of Capital Markets to help fuel our growth with flexible, low-cost capital.
RESPONSIBITIES:
- Lead Deal Activities:
- Help secure and maintain ample levels of efficient and flexible capital (equity, debt, and warehouse) by:
- Identifying and attracting prospective investors
- Crafting an investor story for specific financing opportunities
- Evaluating structuring alternatives and making recommendations
- Overseeing due diligence processes
- Executing and following through to deal closing
- Partner with Corporate Finance, Risk Management, and Treasury to ensure deals are modelled accurately in liquidity, risk, and financial planning
- Partner with Accounting team to ensure deals are properly onboarded, accounted for, and documented and all deal details are understood
- Support ongoing investor relations
- Support refinancing, upsizing, product, and underwriting enhancements as needed
- Support Capital Management and Corporate FP&A:
- Partner across Strategic Finance team to develop long-term balance sheet and cash flow forecasts to assist in capital markets analyses
- Build analytical models to evaluate capital structure decisions including financing, return of capital, liquidity planning, credit ratings, and contingency planning for review with senior leadership
- Partner with multiple Current business leaders to develop Treasury partnerships focused on reducing cost of capital and designing products that can be funded at an appropriate pace to ensure timely product launches
- Manage existing debt portfolio including covenant compliance and ensure proper alignment with risk management processes
ABOUT YOU:
- 5-10 years combined experience in Corporate Treasury, Banking, and Corporate Finance - preferably with experience in a capital markets function and financial services
- Strong understanding of financial / operational risk and controls
- A team player mentality and are able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and independently across multiple areas
- An interest in "getting hands dirty", a strong work ethic, and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for improving financial outcomes for our members, strong interest in fintech, and knowledge of the industry
- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field
- Strong math and quantitative analysis skills
- Strong financial modeling experience
