Big 4 Seniors: Not sure what's the right move? In this role, you'll touch Financial Reporting, Accounting and FP&A. Our DC-based client has a track record of hiring Big 4 senior auditors and promoting them to Manager, Director, even CFO. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller, prepare SEC Filings (annual 10-K, quarterly 10-Q and other periodic filings).
• Complete the month-end close process for specific line function - G&A and corporate activities.
• Complete the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.
• Research technical accounting and reporting topics.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the Director of Finance and Controller.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.
• BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.
• CPA with public accounting experience preferred with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
• Expert proficiency with Excel.
• Life Sciences a plus.
