Overview

The Manager, Marketing (Events) facilitates and manages marketing efforts to increase awareness, engagement, and funding for the Institute with a focus on events, internal conferences, partnership initiatives, and special projects. This position will work with the Director, Events Marketing and the Assistant Vice Presidents, Marketing and Communications in research/planning, campaign development, program/project management, and tracking/reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Proactively recommend, guide, and assist with marketing communication efforts for the Institute's events, conferences, special projects and partnership initiatives.
2. Work with the Director, Event Marketing and Events team to guide and manage goal setting, category research, surveys, target audience segmentation, and identification of key performance indicators to ensure that all projects/campaigns are evidenced-based and strategically grounded.
3. Work in tandem with the Director, Event Marketing, the Assistant Vice Presidents, Marketing & Communications, and internal/external creative teams to oversee the creative development process ensuring marketing communications messages are strategically driven and aligned with the Institute's mission and brand.
4. Work with the Director, Event Marketing to strategically develop, review, and manage appropriate strategies/tactics for marketing of events, ensuring that the elements are effective, delivered on time, and within budget. This may include advertising, collateral materials, direct mail, and digital/email/social media/web marketing efforts.
5. Track, analyze, and provide regular reporting of all marketing communications efforts to understand the impact, Return On Investment (ROI), and overall success based on the metrics and key performance indicators identified during the planning process.
6. In coordination with the Director, Event Marketing, serve as a liaison for outside agency partners, vendors, and freelancers to ensure that marketing communications efforts are strategically grounded and delivered on message, on time, and within budget.
7. Assist with all marketing communications campaign planning, development, and management for internal and external events on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Digital Media, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or a related field required.
Master's degree or graduate work in a related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in an advertising, marketing, event management, or communications related role required.
Healthcare, non-profit, search engine marketing, event management, advertising agency, and management experience preferred

Minimum pay range

USD $63,391.54/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $112,127.18/Yr.
