Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Petroleum Services, PSPM will manage the Schedule, Scope, and Budget of assigned Capital & Expense Petroleum Construction Projects. This role will also assist the Manager of Petroleum Services with coordinating and directing general contractors, civil & petroleum engineers, vendors and any other applicable parties in the execution of prescribed work. This role will also interact with authorities having jurisdiction, from project permitting to completion. Person in this role should have working knowledge of UST's, fuel piping, dispensers and all associated components for a fueling system.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan Review: The PSPM will be responsible for assisting with the interpretation of various engineered fuel standard drawings for accuracy and conformance with EG America standards. The PSPM should be able to document and recommend corrections as needed.
  • Budgets: The PSPM will assist the Manager of Petroleum Services in the creation of budgets during each phase of the project as required for AFE approvals.
  • Permits: The PSPM will assist the Manager of Petroleum Services with researching and investigating current requirements to secure all necessary state, trade, and construction approvals and permits for each project assigned, coordinate the application process for these permits, and track the release of all permits and approvals until all are received.
  • Material Procurement: PSPM will assist the Manager of Petroleum Services in the preparation of EG America supplied approved material list to ensure the correct equipment is ordered for a petroleum project.
  • Project Management: The PSPM must ensure compliance with construction schedules; quality of work performed in conformance with the plans and maintain control of costs within authorized budgets.
  • Onsite Oversight: PSPM will occasionally be responsible for supervising, reviewing and accepting all work performed by the GCs and vendors including change orders as a job progresses. Responsible for assisting the SCPMF in preparing an EGA supplied "Material List" and ordering the correct equipment needed for a project

  • Working Relationships:

    Field Leaders, Design Professionals, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Equipment Vendors, Local/State Agencies, Regulatory Officials, and other EG America SSC personnel in multiple departments.

    Requirements:
    Minimum Education: Associate's degree in civil design, or related field. OR equivalent years of experience

    Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in civil design or related field OR equivalent years of experience

    Minimum Experience: 5 years of field experience in petroleum related industry

    Preferred Experience: 7+ years of experience working in convenience store/petroleum industry specifically related to UST's, dispenser technology, environmental compliance, etc. Work should be a combination of field work as well as project management acumen.

    Licenses/Certifications: None Required.

    Travel - Travel up to 50%, depending upon geographic location. Must have a clean driving record.

    Hours & Conditions - Typically, Monday - Friday for 8 hours/day during normal business hours with occasional weekend work to attend events or address critical issues.

    Physical Requirements - Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
