Job Summary

This is an entry level position into corporate law. We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Attorney to join our legal team. We are a very fast-paced shop with high visibility and accountability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to manage multiple, changing priorities and pivot to address critical needs as a matter of course, handle new assignments with little direction, get up to speed, conduct research quickly to provide advice with short turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Draft, revise, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and procedures.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to address complex legal issues.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts and related documents.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Other corporate work as needed, including: securitizations, employment law, financing documentation, M&A due diligence, etc.


Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to a state bar and in good standing or registered to sit for the next bar exam.
  • Recent graduate to 1-3 years of experience at a law firm (litigation preferred).
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
  • Bilingual: Spanish speaking highly preferred.


Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $125,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and expertise
  • Performance Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 20%, bringing the total compensation range to $150,000 to $168,000
