The position of Program Manager provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated individual. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate exceptional facilitation, organizational, communication, and influencing skills.
You will lead collaborative cross-functional teams to define and deliver commitments: demonstrating feasibility for new technologies, commercializing new products, or improving on-market products, all using our stage-gate or iterative processes to deliver to the agreed scope, schedule, and budget, while managing execution, risks, trade-offs, expectations, and communications.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $83,300.00-$125,000.00.

A day in the Life:
- Leads project core teams.
- Collaborates with team members to develop detailed project plans (scope, achievements, roles & responsibilities, timing, budget, communication and collaborate with any external alliance or collaborator partner organizations, etc.)
- Oversees and prepares project team budget including resources and costs, collaborating with Finance and other cross-functional departments.
- Communicates, documents and archives project team activities and decisions.
- Acts as primary contact for project team related information.
- Facilitates project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, ensuring alignment with internal and external partners.
- Manages projects within established scope, schedule, resources and budget.
- Identifies any program-related issues, concerns or challenges proactively.
- Facilitates tradeoff decisions and removes obstacles.
- Conducts proactive risk management: communication of needs, mitigation plans, and requirements relevant to internal/external partners.
- Reviews project team progress regularly and uses processes, tools and other related resources to ensure effective team dynamics and decision-making, as well as effective interactions with all internal and external collaborators
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Previous cross-functional project management experience
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification preferred
- Lean / Process improvement preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
