We are looking for a passionate Product/Business Analyst to be part of the our Company Research Labs Information Technology organization (Research & Development Division IT). You will be partnering with Global Clinical Development business groups and contribute to a range of IT programs in the Clinical area at global level.

The Product/Business analyst will be part of product teams that solve problems in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business (that means that we might internally develop solutions or buy of the shelf products). Therefore, the Product/Business analyst must collaborate closely with business stakeholders, vendors, architects, engineers and designers to discover effective solutions and then work together to deliver those.

While we will empower the product teams to figure out the best solutions to the problems that need to be solved, we will also hold those teams accountable to the results. The Product/Business analyst will be part of the team that is accountable for ensuring the solution is valuable, viable and meets business needs.

We will expect that you deep dive into problems, document end-to-end processes and are able to clearly articulate those to your team and others. You will also need to effectively lead discussions and ensure that groups don't lose focus on real priorities. In this job, you will need to be able to influence and bring together your teammates, as well as colleagues and stakeholders through your use of data and logic.

You will also participate on system validation activities following company policies and GxP compliance guidelines.

What you will do/ Key responsibilities:

  • Gather documentation related to business processes in clinical domain, document business/user needs and trace requests and responses to requests.


  • Continuously broaden your expertise in the Clinical Trials business domain as well as analysis and reporting platforms.


  • Work with the business to identify business value for our initiatives and determine the best way to measure that our solutions achieve the targeted business value.


  • Be accountable for enablement, adoption, and growth of tools utilized in the context of clinical analysis and reporting.


  • Build knowledge of existing solutions and leverage these for the benefit the business stakeholders.


  • Partner with team members including project manager, senior product manager, technical lead(s) and development team to create and manage high-quality SDLC deliverables.


  • Ensure product releases follow company policies and GxP compliance guidelines.


  • Work closely with the team to ensure a healthy backlog of well-formed epics, features and user stories are maintained, which align with the overall roadmap and serve as requirements for the delivery.


  • Follow and apply the Product Model principles to maximize the business value.


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related study.


Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product/Business Analyst or similar role.


  • Experience with working within a global team


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.


  • Self-driven and able to work independently.


Preferred skills:

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry.


  • Understanding of the Clinical Trials domain from a data collection, standards and analysis and reporting perspective.


  • Experience with GxP validations, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), or working with SaaS and COTS vendors.


  • Note: Travel (~5 to 10%) might be required.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:
$114,700.00 - $180,500.00
