Duties & Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Take ownership of QA activities across multiple projects. Provide hands-on support and guidance for test planning, execution, and automation.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical documentation. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and validate functionality across UI, API, batch jobs, and databases
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs. Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing QA processes and recommend improvements to increase test efficiency, reliability, and coverage.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify quality risks and escalate concerns as needed to ensure product stability and compliance.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Track and communicate test progress, results, and metrics. Help maintain documentation of testing efforts and test outcomes.
  • Test Framework Automation: Support the development and maintenance of automation frameworks. Contribute to the creation of automated test scripts where appropriate.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure testing aligns with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Stay informed of new tools and technologies in the QA landscape.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA or software engineering.
  • 2+ years in a senior-level QA role.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Hands-on experience with functional, API, and automation testing.
  • Experience implementing or working within a test automation framework.
  • Ability to work across the SDLC, from requirement review to final release.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • AccelQ and Lambda Test - nice to have skills
