THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL
The Planning & Performance Director will partner closely with the EVP, GreenShield Administration to drive the execution of key initiatives critical to the successful delivery of the overall strategic directive for GreenShield Administration.
The leader will have accountability for the development and delivery of the Administration Line of Business (LOB) strategic plan including driving the continuous improvement program, labour model, project management around CRM and Cross Sell initiatives.
This role is a critical member of the GreenShield Administration Leadership Team and will require engagement of multiple partners at the LOB and enterprise level.
Navigate priorities within the GreenShield Administrations' team and across other initiatives with the organization
Partner with LOB leadership team and Finance on AOP development
Lead the development of business cases and critical metrics related to strategic plan implementation - tracking performance, providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on results
Represent LOB with key enterprise initiatives within the LOB (i.e. CRM, Workforce planning, Hiring Gate)
Collaborate with Sales leadership to drive that growth through pricing and renewal strategies and execution
Lead GreenShield Administration's capital planning process, through support of business case development, ensuring connection to P&Ls, and ongoing monitoring of ROI of deployed projects.
Partner with IT and Product leadership to ensure the delivery of the capital envelope.
Project manage CRM deployment and ongoing utilization.
Manage and represent GreenShield Administration on enterprise cross sell initiatives.
Support LOB leaders on launches of net new growth initiatives.
Responsible for planning, monitoring, GreenShield Administrations' budget and the short and long-term planning, forecasting, and workforce planning.
Partner with Line of Business leaders and Corporate Function owners to ensure the successful achievement of efficiency targets and the delivery of related projects
Establishes and monitors efficiency and effectiveness measures for each department, which will be used for Ci targets
Work closely with Operations team to deploy workforce and capacity management tools, processes, and teams across GreenShield Administration to ensure overall capacity is optimized to meet current and future business needs
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, in partnership with SLT.
Identifying and analyzing market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Ensuring alignment between strategic plans and business sales and operational activities, effective enablement of the business to reach priority goals.
Key contributor to AOP and 3-year forecasts, key assumptions and risks, business case formation and capital business cases
Performance Management:
Developing and implementing performance measurement systems and reporting infrastructure, helping to influence culture.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement.
Analyzing performance data to identify trends and patterns.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Business liaison representing GS Admin on Enterprise-level projects/engagements: BCP, Compliance/Risk, Governance Committees, Internal Shared Services
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination.
Communicating performance data and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Decision Making:
Making data-driven decisions to improve performance and achieve strategic goals.
Identifying opportunities for the implementation of action plans to address performance gaps.
