In this onsite opportunity, the VP of Market Growth is responsible for leading VillageMD's (Houston) market's people, programs and partnerships in support of the organization's growth, patient acquisition and retention goals. The VP is responsible for being a positive face to and developer of channel partners such as brokers and FMOs, as well as advocating for Village Medical to payers and partners. The VP is a key liaison to community and broker partners in target markets and models compliant, on-brand, on-mission outreach in all cases. The VP is accountable for market growth goals, setting patient acquisition strategies through partnerships/channels and directly to consumers, ensuring team training and readiness, then defining and supporting achievement of growth programs and tactics. This leader is also responsible for the development and advancement of his or her team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • With Finance and Operations, as part of annual planning and forecasting, collaborate on market goal definition and rationalization for annual gross and net Medicare attribution targets.
  • Refine and optimize the broker channel, ensuring Medicare Ranger productivity among appropriate broker organizations.
  • Build relationships with the ecosystem around Medicare and Medicare Advantage patient care and acquisition (FMO's, Agencies, Brokers, and Payor sales teams) and develop strategies to work together in the community and mutually grow.
  • Produce new Medicare patient growth through in-market programming such as hyper-local marketing, educational events, community forums, DocTalks - focused on driving broker enrollment.
  • Hire, train and/or develop high-performing broker managers, community representatives, marketing and program management team members.
  • Collaborate with OCMO, Clinic Operations, Practice Management, etc., as needed, to ensure appropriate organizational commitment to and participation in programs and local events.
  • Guide and monitor business ethics and good business practices, in compliance with Company guidelines.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15 + years' experience in broker management and community sales/outreach leadership, with hiring, managing, and growing high-performance teams. Significant experience in the market, including key relationships, is required.
  • Demonstrated accountability to achieve local and market-level quotas using diverse sales strategies as appropriate.
  • Experience in healthcare required; experience designing and executing channel, partnership and direct-to-consumer sales and marketing programs to educate and orient Medicare and Medicare-eligible populations highly desirable.
  • 10-15 years' experience in building, leading, training, and developing sales, marketing and local representative teams.
  • Motivated and flexible, possessing the ability to take initiative, to succeed under pressure and meet deadlines and growth goals
