Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A advisory within the energy sector and possess excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and make a significant impact within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Develop detailed financial models to support transaction structuring and valuation.
  • Conduct industry research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, including pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Support the negotiation and closing of transactions, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A advisory in the energy sector.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
