Description:
Strategy Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer who is responsible for supporting and actively participating in detailed I&E design activities in a variety of off-shore and on-shore projects.
As a successful candidate, you will take ownership of applicable electrical system design deliverables for systems in oil and gas facilities, including creating detailed schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Design drawings such as PLC Panel Layout Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, Installation details, etc.
In this position, you will interface with project managers and other discipline leads to ensure accuracy and consistency across engineering packages, from the design to the construction phase.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
10+yrs of Electrical Design experience.
Able to work independently
Must be proficient using AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Both onshore and offshore project experience.
Ability to create detailed design drawings and documentation.
Able to review vendor drawings, interface with other disciplines.
Must have experience with wiring installation details.

- Experience in extracting, producing equipment layouts, ladder layouts, lighting layouts.
- Generate PLC Panel Layout Drawings, One Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Installation details.
- Interface with engineers, designers, and other office personnel.
