Nemours is seeking a Regional VP, Strategy to support our North Florida region.
The Regional VP, Strategy is a member of the executive leadership team in the North Florida region. Reporting to the President, North Florida, this position will advance Nemours strategy and overall growth of the health system in the North Florida region. Relying on a strong business acumen, with competence across a wide array of planning disciplines, this position is responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of new and changing business models, programs, and business relationships that drive the delivery of expert, quality healthcare to children, purposeful growth in the North Florida market, and enhanced effectiveness and financial viability.
This position will coordinate the development of the annual and long-range strategic plan in conjunction with the North Florida president and executive leadership team, and enterprise executive leaders. This position will partner with the VP, CSO on key service lines, partnerships and other strategies that impact statewide strategy. Responsible for developing key partnerships and growth initiatives occurring in the region. Works collaboratively with key stakeholders throughout the organization and supports the Executive Vice President, General Counsel in Enterprise Business Development planning The Regional VP Strategy will assist in positioning Nemours as a national leader in children's healthcare.

In leu of Advanced degree, Bachelor's and 10 years of experience in strategic planning including experience in a complex healthcare system setting.
Minimum seven years of senior level experience in strategic planning including experience in a complex healthcare system setting

Essential Functions:
- Will serve as an expert in the everchanging healthcare landscape and analyzing trends throughout the region.
- Manages, develops and provides comprehensive, routine reporting to the North Florida executive team and enterprise leadership in areas of success and opportunities for improvement related to strategic development.
- Assist and support the development of regional market dashboards and dynamic reporting tools to support strategic planning across the enterprise. Utilize internal and external data for strategic planning, market share analysis, competitor information, primary market research, utilization, program and service performance, and monitor data for business trends with routine regular and ad hoc reporting; enhance the use of data to support planning, strategy, and business development.
- Coordinate development & implementation of strategic planning process in alignment with the North Florida executive team while maintaining alignment with statewide and enterprise-wide strategy.
- Identifies, evaluates and develops new business opportunities, services and market opportunities, and partnerships and affiliations to support growth strategy. Assess existing service lines for growth potential, regionally, nationally and internationally. Supports enterprise business development function related to complex transactions and projects.
- Leads multi-disciplinary groups in the development of market, environmental, competitive and financial analyses to support the development of long-range business planning.
- Partners with VP, CSO, Florida and team to provide leadership with business intelligence to support strategic, operational, and budgetary decision making.
- Partners with statewide Director, Provider Relations for physician relations/liaison activities, including efforts to improve physician communications, orienting new staff and the development of relationships with referring physicians.
- Manage areas of responsibility to achieve approved budgetary goals.
- Actively collaborates with other leaders throughout the system to advance our strategy.
- Leads, demonstrates & supports the Nemours Standards of Behavior.
