About the Role: The Sr. Digital Media Specialist provides senior level knowledge and execution of Paid Search campaigns for clients across multiple industries and at various budget levels. This individual plans, builds, and manages campaigns across multiple search engines - such as Google and Bing. Day-to-day role includes tactical execution of campaigns while consistently and effectively communicating with internal, cross-function team members. They will foster account growth through successful campaign management as well as compose and present strategic reports that illustrate campaign progress. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas.

This individual plans, builds, and manages campaigns across multiple search engines - such as Google and Bing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficient day-to-day media management across various platforms/ vendor networks. Primary platforms and executional tactics include but not limited to:
- Search engines - Google and Bing
- Paid Search, Shopping, Discovery, Display (GDN) and Video
- Platforms - Kenshoo, Call tracking systems (e.g. CallRail, DialogTech), Google Merchant Center, Bing Merchant Center, Shopper Programs/Sponsored Ads (Instacart, Amazon, Walmart, etc.)
- Search engines - Google and Bing
- Provide technical guidance and training to Media Operations Associates and Managers
- Share knowledge of best practices, perform account(s) performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement
- Keep current with digital trends and foster team development by sharing latest media/ systems advancements, upcoming changes, and successful platform management techniques
- Account Planning and Maintenance:
- Work closely with Paid Search Strategy team to align on tactical estimates for media proposals and ongoing opportunity for growth
- Day-to-day role will center on campaign management and optimizations:
- Measure performance relative to KPI's to identify areas for strategic enhancement - keyword applications, budget/bid optimizations, ad copy creation/testing, etc.
- Collaborate with Paid Search Strategy team on data readouts to outline opportunities for improving performance and recommendations for client approvals
- Implement optimizations, budget adjustments, and ad updates - Maintain ongoing logs/ shared documentation of modifications and actions
- Diligent campaign pacing and monthly budget tracking/ reconciliation
- Reporting:
- Organize data, analyze metrics, and provide actionable insights
- Participate in internal reviews and equip Paid Search Strategy team with operational input for client conversations
- Support Paid Search Strategy team, as necessary, in client presentation and meeting prep
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of digital media experience - expertise in SEM
- Advanced knowledge of paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Google and Adobe Analytics
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, able to perform basic and advanced functions - pivot tables, index/match, vlookups, sumifs, charts, etc.
- Experience managing and mentoring other employees
- Comprehensive knowledge of how to build and launch a new client
- e.g. Appropriate selection of campaign type, structure, and bidding strategy. Application of platform conversion tracking, URL tagging, labelling/ naming conventions for reporting solutions
- Acute attention to detail and well-versed in Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Ability to develop and administer operational guidelines and implementation checks
- Persistently and proactively provide support and solutions to internal snags and account/ client complications
- Ability to change strategies and adopt new techniques as the media space evolves
- Ability to effectively communicate with Paid Search Strategy team members as well as all other internal teams.
