Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Key Account Leader (KAL) to cover the Manchester, NH Territory for the Pulmonary Hypertension disease state.

Key Responsibilities:

A Key Account Leader (KAL) coordinates all Local Healthcare Market (LHM) activity to meet customer needs through collaboration with Territory Managers (TM), Therapy Access Managers (TAM), Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), and Key Account Customer Managers (KCEM.) The KAL will be the key point of contact to prioritize key accounts within the LHM to communicate the breadth of JJIM Pulmonary Hypertension products and services. Responsible for delivering on the sales and business goals for the LHM.

The primary responsibilities of a Key Account Leader include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Collaborates with the cross functional LHM team to develop account plans
  • Representing the LHM team, presents account plans to cross functional management team
  • Develops new business and maintains existing business within LHM by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers
  • Creates and facilitates alignment between all LHM team members
  • Coordinates effectively with peers, internal departments, and customers to ensure that key issues are understood and addressed, and priorities are set appropriately
  • Responsible for creating a unified and positive experience for customers within LHM and accountable for addressing customer feedback
  • Works closely with LHM teammates to achieve business goals through spending time in the field, executing business plans, and planning/attending educational programs
  • Builds and strengthens business relationships with specialty pharmacies' local representatives
  • Supports critical educational initiatives within the LHM and manages the individual budget within the LHM
  • Works with cardiology, pulmonary and rheumatology fellows of institutions to develop future thought leaders in the field of PAH
  • Pursues adherence to and demonstrates JJIM PH Values by being a role model within the LHM
  • Adheres to all PhRMA, OIG, and corporate policies and procedures


Qualifications

Education:
  • BA/BS Degree is the minimum requirement


Skills and Experience:

Required:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry or three (3) or more years of specialty sales and/or key account management
  • Ability to sell collaboratively
  • High level of clinical, product, and business acumen
  • Superior communication skills and excellent follow though
  • Proven track record of consistent sales performance and leadership
  • Adept at planning, organizing, and executing sales strategy
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, depending on territory size, account locations, and location of residence
  • Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography


Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of managed care and hospital sales
  • Significant PAH market or rare disease experience and product/market knowledge, especially in pulmonology, cardiology, or rheumatology
  • Proven success working in a cross functional and/or team environment
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of high performance, strong clinical knowledge, solid business acumen
  • Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship and coaching to new hires as well as the rest of the team
  • Experience in prioritizing the critical business drivers and then driving alignment among other field partners to overcome these drivers
  • Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship, coaching, and leading without authority

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$115,000-$198,950
