SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Medication Access Manager is to oversee all Medication Access activities. This role will serve as the pharmacist point of contact for Medication Access Coordinators, Prior Authorization Technicians, and Medication Access Specialists. The Medication Access Manager will be responsible for auditing patient assistance program utilization, creation of new workflows, as well as oversight of med access team member productivity.
Medication Access Coordinators, Medication Access Specialists, and Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technicians will report directly to this position.
Reports to the Executive Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree BS Pharmacy / PharmD Preferred
Seven (7) or more years of job-related experience including medication access activities and retail pharmacy.
Registered pharmacist- GA
