Job Description:
The finance/analytics manager has ownership of all P&L related processes and is also charged with leveraging the department's data to provide actionable reporting and insights which enable the supply chain team to operate efficiently and shed costs. P&L duties include: providing month end submissions (revenue/expenses) to accounting for RTD, monitoring shrink, creating month-end financial documents/presentations, presenting month-end results to leadership, lead meetings with various internal groups when costs are to be applied for internal services provided(VAS). This individual works both independently and as part of a team to help drive value and efficiency back into the supply chain function focused on additional volumes, increased revenues, financial clarity and decreased operational costs. The financial ownership of this role will apply to all areas of supply chain (Bakers Ferry/All-points/RTD). This role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing logistics/financial analysis and modeling for the supply chain team as well as partnering with internal stakeholders to identify, investigate and recommend new areas of potential business. The Financial/Analytics manager is intimately familiar with all supply chain systems, operational functions, and financial mechanisms and is familiar with the project management process. This individual will oversee projects to completion and use sound judgement and experience to ensure all deliverables on projects are met as required.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees the creation and enhancement of logistics analysis using various tools (Excel, Access, Showcase, Power BI etc.)
- Supervises and mentors any Analyst(s) in an effort to share knowledge and develop analytical and professional skills.
- Manages ad-hoc business modeling as needed in support of new business development and financial analysis
- Provides recommendations to internal stakeholders on project decisions based on analysis to ensure RTD remains competitive in the marketplace.
- Benchmarks the industry and competition and collects research data in order to provide solutions and encourage innovation.
- Serves as point of contact for RaceTrac AP and Accounting teams to research and resolve any account issues, ensure a smooth month end close process, and approve write-off of unreconciled freight invoices as needed.
- Proactively identifies and quantifies business issues affecting operational performance.
- Manages the creation and refining of monthly financial tracking mechanisms as needed
- Act as SME expert for billing questions/issues dealing with RT franchise stores serviced by RTD
- Manages all invoice processing for supply chain team focused on timely and accurate coding of costs
- Oversee all reporting creation in Power BI, ensuring the business data needs are being met
- Works with internal business partners to identify new volumes and understand the financial and operational impacts of those new volumes. Provides recommendations on new business as needed
- Leverage data to analyze root causes of supply chain issues and offers solutions in coordination with the affected parties.
- Serves as analytical guidance and project lead on various ad-hoc initiatives that support supply chain business growth and enhancement.
- Acts as subject matter expert for the processes and business reporting for respective area of responsibility.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in global/regional process forums.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business related field preferred
- 4+years' experience in a related field preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI, Showcase
- Knowledge of basic principles of logistics, finance and distribution a plus
