Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor II to lead a team of talented Training Professionals responsible for designing and developing Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT) using a systematic instructional design approach. This role involves working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), content owners, and cross-functional teams to create engaging and effective learning solutions. Additionally, the Supervisor II will oversee data analytics, dashboards, metrics, and SharePoint management to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
The Supervisor will report to the Infrastructure Team Manager and serve as a mentor and coach, assisting team members in their professional growth and achieving their goals. Oversee the planning and execution of project schedules, assist with meeting budget goals by gathering and submitting budget information, and ensure procedural adherence to organizational processes and requirements.

Annual salary range for this position is: $101,254.40 to $162,011.20.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of instructional designers and developers to ensure high-quality training solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
- Assist in assigning and prioritize projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the design and development of ILT and WBT courses using a structured instructional design methodology.
- Partner with SMEs, content owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Ensure training aligns with adult learning principles, instructional best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Manage and analyze training data, dashboards, and key performance metrics to track effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and reports to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present clear and actionable insights.
- Assist in overseeing the management and optimization of SharePoint sites for training resources, team collaboration, etc.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency in training development and data management.
- Stay current with emerging learning technologies and industry trends to continuously improve training solutions.
- Communicate project updates, performance insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Advocate for innovation and best practices in learning development and data-driven decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for training development and data analytics, ensuring strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Track direct and indirect expenditures/labor costs.
- Supervise individual contributors, including approving time, conducting performance evaluations, and participating in the selection process of new employees.
- May perform work of the same type as those being supervised, as well as, providing technical guidance.
Qualifications
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of 8 years of related and progressively responsible experience.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and e-learning development tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, ServiceNow, Excel).
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supervising, building and leading high-performance teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive continuous improvement in processes and team performance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Work schedule for this position will be 4/10's, Monday - Thursday (subject to change).
- Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
