The role focuses on continuous improvement of system efficiency, budget management, inventory control, troubleshooting, and facility planning, maximizing team productivity and operational effectiveness.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Must Have
- Supervise Mechanical part Technicians, ensuring efficient work order assignments, meeting deadlines, and conducting training functions.
- Manage a team of technicians and maintenance personnel responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of the facility's equipment and infrastructure.
- Supervise gas/chemical facility technicians, assigning work tasks, meeting deadlines, and conducting training sessions.
- Manage a team of technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs of gas and chemical supply systems.
- Ensure the stable supply of gas and chemicals through effective operation of the Gas/Chemical Supply Facility.
- Manage systems such as N2 and Argon Recycle to meet operational goals in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), productivity, quality, reliability, and availability.
- Develop and implement long- and short-term operation plans for the facility.
- Monitor and improve operational performance, managing costs and quality on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
- Oversee routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for the Gas/Chemical Supply Facility.
- Manage installation, modification, and upgrades of piping, valves, and pressure control systems.
- Ensure maintenance activities follow schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular performance checks and maintain records for systems such as N2, Argon Recycle, and related equipment.
- Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for gas and chemical supply operations.
- Create and execute a comprehensive PR issuance and inventory management system for gas and chemicals.
- Forecast consumption patterns and optimize stock levels to ensure adequate supply.
- Implement cost-saving measures to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as gas leaks or equipment malfunctions, adhering to safety regulations.
- Establish, review, and update emergency response protocols regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and execute safety measures related to the operation of the Gas/Chemical Supply Facility.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- All other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a similar manufacturing or related industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technicians.
- Basic knowledge of Plumbing codes and building codes.
- Proficient in mechanical systems and utilities within a similar industry
- Relevant certifications are preferred and will be considered a plus
- In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing factory
- Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
